Add new record/Edit existing record

Inside a project, click on the ‘Add / Edit Records’ link under the ‘Data Collection’ menu items on the left side menu panel.

Add a new record / Select an existing record

If auto-numbering is enabled, you will get a ‘+ Add new record’ button to add a new record. To select an existing record, you can use the drop down list above the ‘+ Add new record’ button.

If auto-numbering is disabled, you will get a text box to enter a new custom record id. To select an existing record, you can type in the record id in the text box or you can use the drop down list above the text box.

Open an instrument / Save data to an instrument within a record

Once a record opens up, click on the dot representing the desired instrument to open up for data entry. The color of the dot represents the completion status of the instrument which can be controlled by the user using the instrument completion status drop down box at the bottom of each instrument.

When the instrument opens up, add data, then select the appropriate instrument completion status and choose one of the save options to save your data for the instrument.
